Koriolan is a cassette futurism-themed sci-fi horror micro RPG. The players take on the role of Salvagers operating in the Outskirts of colonized space. A high priority message just came in on the holo-tape, ordering them to a mysterious derelict that needs to be investigated before the competition arrives.

Players can expect to visit creepy space wrecks, use a variety of analog retro tools inspired by 70s sci-fi, and avoid dangers while they collect valuable scrap.

In other words, think Lethal Company crossed with Alien crossed with the Soviet Union and you’ll get a pretty good impression of the setting and kinds of mischief that players will get up to in a night with this micro RPG.

The game comes with:

  • A systems agnostic scenario that game masters can use with their preferred ruleset (such as Call of Cthulhu 7eth edition or even 5e D&D).
  • A bonus page with tables for randomly creating additional scenarios and salvage retrieval missions on a variety of bizarre planets, each with their own twist and unexpected confrontation.
  • Tools for character creation, including jobs and backgrounds for the Salvagers and how they can fit as a single crew.

Koriolan is offered using a Pay What You Will (PWYW) pricing model. In other words, it’s available for everything from FREE to however much you want to tip.
