Living the Tabletop Daydream

Resources, brainstorming, and plenty of mad ideas for Warcry, Call of Cthulhu, Dungeons & Dragons, along with our own homebrew material and modules.

Free Call of Cthulhu Scenario Bail Jumper of St. Isidore Is Now Available

It’s been a long time coming to the surface, but our second standalone module for 7th Edition Call of Cthulhu tabletop RPG is now available!

Set in the same universe as our previous offering (The Mask of the Black Sun), The Bail Bumper of St. Isidore takes place in the 1920s classical era in a fictional city called Salem Falls in Canada’s Maritimes.

The investigators are tasked with retrieving a mysterious artifact referred to as a “Turkish box” that was recently stolen. Along the way, they will learn about missing people, a mysterious buyer for the artifact, and track down the thief before something from inside the box drags him into a hellish dimension.

There’s some roleplaying, some light investigative work, a bit of combat, and a climactic scene that involves putting together a Mythos spell to stop a monster.

Like our other scenario, it’s meant to be played in a single session of roughly 3-5 hours and should be a great fit for newer players or Game Masters.

It’s currently available at DriveThruRPG priced FREE or Pay What You Will (in this economy, who can afford nice things for themselves – but if you can, it’s always appreciated).
