Resources, brainstorming, and plenty of mad ideas for Warcry, Call of Cthulhu, Dungeons & Dragons, along with our own homebrew material and modules.

Tavern Openings – Free PDF to Help You Make Interesting Taverns

Ever notice how taverns are a recurring location in Dungeons & Dragons, either as a wayside stop or an opening location?

Well, we certainly did. Apart from having recently shared some thoughts about what we love about D&D taverns, we also decided to put together a handy 2-page PDF that can help you make your taverns more interesting and impactful!

You can pick it up today at our Ko-Fi page or from the link below (takes you to the same place).

Tavern Openings

To use the PDF, just grab a D6 and roll for each of the tables to get some interesting locations, curious details, and other ways of setting the scene.

Also, we included some initiating actions that get your party right into an intriguing scenario and a kicker at the end that you can use to kickstart further adventures or the start to a campaign.

So whether you just want to add a tavern to your existing game night or start a new game at one that goes beyond the usual drinking establishment, give it a spin and see where your adventures take you!
